Today we joined with the Bethesda Church of God Mission Group to hold a fund raiser for the upcoming Peru trip. We cooked 800 chicken halves and made BBQ chicken plates for $7.00. God blessed us with a grand turnout this morning. As well as the event, we took 25 plates to the Samaritin house homeless shelter and 5 plates to our friends in tent city. An added blessing was that my two grandsons went our into the streets with us to deliver the meals.
God blessed us with a beautiful day for ministry. I am sure the many folks were blessed today and many folks will be blessed from the efforts of the folks at the church today.
