I just needed to profess this Word on our page this morning!!

Amos 9: 13 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him that soweth seed; and the mountains shall drop sweet wine, and all the hills shall melt.

After an awesome night last night....our phone rang today and this scripture came to LIFE right before our eyes!!!!!!

To God be all the praise and glory for the blessings that flow. Our prayer is the God blesses you, your family and your business 100 fold!!

Jason installs the new TV and DVD
Tonight we spent the evening with the folks at the Community Residential Home. We had a grand time indeed!! We sang Christmas songs and Hymns and everyone got a large gift bag full of good stuff, The folks ate 12 dozen cookies, and drinks ....They even got a new flat screen TV and DVD player and a stack of new movies for movie night. Jason thanked everyone for letting us share this night with them, Susan read the Christmas story from the Bible, and I said a prayer over the food and the evening. The employees even received a Gift card from Walmart.

The party !!!

God truly blessed tonight !!  We just joined them and had a very nice Christmas party. We made many new friends tonight. I am sure that we will be in their lives for a long time. One of the older ladies took my wife aside and told her that this was the best Christmas she had in her whole life.
The Head nurse here said that she had prayed that God would bless these folks this Christmas because some of these folks never have any visitors at all..ever! She said that she asked  God to let them have a good Christmas this year...and He delivered!! We were the third group this month to visit them... God is kind and just to answer our prayers...He does hear us. and He will answer!!!

My Grandson Miles with a
truck load of Christmas on the
way to the party
This night was not about the gifts, but rather the time we were able to spend with our new friends, and the blessings that God has given us to pass on to others. So, as we sang "Happy Birthday to Jesus" with them, we looked around the room, and thanked God for allowing us to share His love .Christmas time, as many other times of the year, is a lonely time for so many. And all they really want is a smile, or a hug, or a few minutes of your time. Let us try to be aware of our surroundings this Christmas season, and share the love of Jesus as much as we can..........

This Christmas we have been blessed to touch 31 famlies in two states.
 John 1:14

14And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

Merry Christmas !!!!

I was told a story today..You all should read this.

A minister from Florida told me this story today. It just got to me a little bit.  This middle school teacher was having a conversation with one of her students on the way to the lunch room. When they got to the lunch room the teacher noticed that the student did not get in the food line. Instead he just took a seat without eating. When the teacher ask if he was going to eat the student responded.... "No, its not my day to eat".
As it turns out it was his brothers day to eat. They actually took turns eating every other day.

God please open our eyes to see and notice these things around us that need addressing in the name of Jesus, and anoint us to boldly step into the situation and minister the compassionate love of God in that moment.

Christmas blessing in Louisville KY...A smile is restored for Christmas.

Today we were directed to a lady who lives in Louisville Ky. We will call her Ann. Ann suffers from a life long disease called Osteogenesis imperfecta. Over her lifetime she has broken almost all of her bones at one time or another. Now she is in her 60s and not able to work, In fact she has not been able to work for the past 13 years. For many years Ann's teeth have been disintegrating and now she has no teeth. She is on public assistance and has no medical or dental insurance. For last 10 years she not been able to actually chew any food!!! Think about that for a moment...... it seems that she has been unable to find any help at all with this problem. It appears that she had become concerned with her appearance and rairly went out in to the public. She had become a bit of a shut in because of this issue.

Today during a ministry board of directors meeting while we were discussing the Christmas season and some of the assignments we were working on..I felt a strong urge to be silent...just to sit there and be still...Then it came...like a waterfall!!!! I said...what do you guys think Ann needs? Instantly everyone at the table felt a witness of the Spirit.

So...Tonight we contacted her and told her that we wanted help her have her dental work corrected and to have some dentures made for her. When she heard this news....She cried and cried. She said that this was indeed an answer to her prayers. If you consider her situation in its fullness, it just makes you sad for her. But in her midnight hours, God heard her hearts' cry. He is kind and just in His answer to her.....YES And AMEN !!!

And now for Christmas Ann from Kentucky receives her smile back. God restored her smile !!! This smile is an outward expression of her inner joy. The scripture says that the joy of the Lord is our strength. I would like to ask our supporters to pray for her as this will be a bit of a long process to get her from where she is to having her new smile.

Psalms 30:5 “...Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.”

This Christmas at the Community Residential Care Home in Sumter, S.C.

This Christmas, Help Out Guys Rescue Ministries will be spending time with the folks at the Community Residential Care Home here in Sumter, S.C.

We will bring with us, an oversized Christmas stocking filled with all kinds of "Good Stuff"  for every resident at the home.  Our hope and prayer is that we will be able to bring some Christmas cheer and hope to these folks that live at the home. While we were visiting with the staff at the home we found that one of the heating units was not working so well and that they had a very old small television in the day room. So...We ask our Heat/Ac guys to stop by and look at the heater for them. Our intent is to replace the old TV with a new flat screen for them all and to have the heat repaired as well
.
We are not asking for donations at all this Christmas...All we ask is that you consider us and the folks at the home in your prayers each day.

Over the Christmas season there will be many, many people that will not have a visit from a family member or even a friend.  Sometimes the best gift one could give is ...your time. We would ask that as you celebrate this Christmas with friends and family...Remember those people who may be in real need.

You know...If you have never done this type of thing before ...This Christmas is a good time to start. What better way to celebrate Christmas than to start a family tradition of bringing hope and a smile to people that need it.... Think about it for a moment.  We here at Help Out Guys Rescue Ministries wish you all a Very Merry Christmas !!!
Matt. 25:40And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
