Christmas blessing in Louisville KY...A smile is restored for Christmas.

Today we were directed to a lady who lives in Louisville Ky. We will call her Ann. Ann suffers from a life long disease called Osteogenesis imperfecta. Over her lifetime she has broken almost all of her bones at one time or another. Now she is in her 60s and not able to work, In fact she has not been able to work for the past 13 years. For many years Ann's teeth have been disintegrating and now she has no teeth. She is on public assistance and has no medical or dental insurance. For last 10 years she not been able to actually chew any food!!! Think about that for a moment...... it seems that she has been unable to find any help at all with this problem. It appears that she had become concerned with her appearance and rairly went out in to the public. She had become a bit of a shut in because of this issue.

Today during a ministry board of directors meeting while we were discussing the Christmas season and some of the assignments we were working on..I felt a strong urge to be silent...just to sit there and be still...Then it came...like a waterfall!!!! I said...what do you guys think Ann needs? Instantly everyone at the table felt a witness of the Spirit.

So...Tonight we contacted her and told her that we wanted help her have her dental work corrected and to have some dentures made for her. When she heard this news....She cried and cried. She said that this was indeed an answer to her prayers. If you consider her situation in its fullness, it just makes you sad for her. But in her midnight hours, God heard her hearts' cry. He is kind and just in His answer to her.....YES And AMEN !!!

And now for Christmas Ann from Kentucky receives her smile back. God restored her smile !!! This smile is an outward expression of her inner joy. The scripture says that the joy of the Lord is our strength. I would like to ask our supporters to pray for her as this will be a bit of a long process to get her from where she is to having her new smile.

Psalms 30:5 “...Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.”
